Each of our program is designed to address the developmental need of children individually, and to help them develop at their own pace. We use the British system of synthetic phonics called the Jolly phonics to teach sounds formation. in addition to these, Modern montessori which is an improvement on the former montessori system is used to train children how to learn at their own pace. through interraction. Indiviiduality is key to our daily living. The bright sparks are encouraged to fly while the sub-par are motivated to discover their hidden talents.
This is where babies are nurtured, bearing in mind, their physical needs, emotional needs and developmental needs. All this needs are well catered for, through our well experienced matrons and handlers. The intellectual needs of this children are awakened through educational toys, interactive sessions with toddlers teachers. Common objects and words are introduced at this early stage to awaken their listening and psychomotor skills. The environment, where these children are catered for is calm, attractive and neat.
At the Pre-School(18months + to 3 years +) Your child starts with letter sounds and formation of words at that tender age, they start with stage 1 and 2 of the Jolly phonics. This unique system teaches key skills from the start in a fun and multisensory way. This will enable your child to be a good thinker, a confident communicator at a very tender age. The program continues throughout the school years, by extending the earlier phonics teaching with jolly phonics. Further spelling, Grammar and punctuation concept. Each year of teaching provides continuous revision and consolidation of topics taught in previous years. Research shows that the progress made by children using jolly phonics far exceeds that of children not taught using Jolly phonics.
We recognize this stages as begining of control, cordination of hand, mind and body, so their learning revolves round concrete and tangible experiences, children use concrete materials to learn math, movable objects, alphabets to learn and explore literacy (language) cubes, cylinders and other objects to categorize, sorts and find spatial relationships and more. Pratical life activities are paramount at this stage.
At this stage children are ready to learn abstract principles; we encourage children to work at their own pace. Self worth is developed in them and leadership ability is inculcated. Their creativity and other prospects is let on the loose.
